Exclusive : Pappy Kojo disrupts Uniland Festival

Ghanaian musician Jason Gaisie, popularly known as Pappy Kojo, has made headlines after an incident at the recently concluded Uniland Festival in Accra.

Pappy Kojo in a twitter(X) post said “I’m coming with boys to come and stop the show. Next time u will know who to play with” he issued a threat to disrupt the event.

Videos circulating on social media captured the moment Pappy Kojo stormed the stage and seized the DJ’s turntable.

Additional footage showed the musician grabbing the microphone from the MC, announcing the cancellation of the show. Bouncers pushed him off the stage, injuring his ankle.

In an interview with Ghana Web, DJ Legend stated that the police had to intervene to compel Pappy Kojo to return the equipment. “Before I knew it, he had gotten on a motor and was going out with it. I rushed to the other side with the help of the police and they stopped him and managed to convince him to give it to me. But he instead dropped the equipment on the floor, damaging it” he added.

DJ Legend mentioned that the equipment is damaged beyond repair and has reported it to Mercury Quaye, his mentor.
